Alla Turca 3X

“Beating AI with Mozart” is the title of my session at the Global Peter Drucker Forum 2019, on November 22, in Vienna. A good start for that talk might be to listen to music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His Piano Sonata No. 11, “Alla Turca” is one of his best-known pieces. Here are three different versions – the original one played by András Schiff, one rec-composed by artificial intelligence, and a Jazz version from Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Say.

Which one do you prefer?

Pianist András Schiff plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 11 in A, KV. 331, “Alla Turca.”

What happens when Artificial Intelligence starts composing? Listen to a short piece composed by AI on MuseNet in the style of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Alla Turca.

And now listen to Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Say playing his own version of Alla Turca, inspired by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
