Ukranian-American violinist Myroslava Khomik brings her music making not only to the most prestigious concert halls and festivals around the world, but loves collaborating in film and tv projects. She enjoys working with contemporary composers and innovative programming, often mixing different art forms. Currently based in Los Angeles, Myroslava has won several prizes in international competitions as a soloist and a chamber musician. Most recently, she was awarded the New Artist of the Year Award in Argentina. Myroslava is driven by the belief in the importance of music in our society and its perpetuating role of bringing depth in education of young generations. After her Doctorate in Musical Arts degree, she has taught at several universities, given master classes, and lectures in the US, Mexico, and Malaysia.
