Sofia Livotov

German soprano Sofia Livotov is a versatile artist, equally at home performing opera, art song, and contemporary music. Based in Leeds, Sofia has appeared at international venues including Oxford Lieder Festival, Tonhalle Zurich, Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre in London, as well the concert stage in Jakarta. An established concert singer, both in recital and oratorio, Sofia has performed with ensembles such as the Festival Strings Lucerne and Sinfonietta Zurich. In 2022, together with pianist Natalia Pegarkova-Barenboim she presented in Salzburg an all-female composer programme and was invited by musicians of Orchester des Wandels to perform in the orchestra’s climate concert series across Germany. Upcoming engagements include appearances at the Ulverston International Festival and the University of Leeds International Concert Series 2023. Sofia has appeared in contemporary opera productions at the Lucerne Theatre and Tête-à-Tête Festival. After joining the Chorus of Opera North for Parsifal in April 2022, she returned as a member of the Chorus for the current year.

Besides her performing career, Sofia is passionate about helping people discover their talents. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a master’s degree in vocal pedagogy, she empowers her clients to unlock their full voice potential.
